Not only do mountain hikers have high standards when it comes to flashlights, headlamps and lanterns so do campers, geocachers, hunters, anglers and many other outdoors fans. Lights from Ledlenser meet precisely these high standards of quality in terms of functionality and design. We call it "technology engineered in Germany".
The information pertaining to the scope of delivery, appearance, performance, dimensions and weight corresponds to the information available at the time of publication. If no setting is explicitly indicated, the values refer to luminous flux (lumens/lm) and lighting range (meters/m) on the highest setting, and to battery duration (hours/hrs/h) on the lowest setting. A boost function (if available) can be used several times, but only for short periods of time. If the light is equipped with (a) coloured LED(s), the measurement values are given for the white light or the white LED. If the light has different energy modes, the measurement is made based on theenergy saving mode

The warranty period of five years from the date of purchase, seven years if the product is registered online on our website. The warranty is valid worldwide and legal warranty rights also apply. It covers defects in materials and workmanship. For the proper functioning of rechargeable batteries, a different warranty period of 24 months applies. Excluded from this warranty are the product series Solid line, Ledlenser K1 and Ledlenser K2. The warranty does not apply to Defects in batteries, holsters, pouches, remote switches, colour filters, imprints or surface coatings.
Smart Light Technology: Smart light technology turns a Ledlenser into your personal lighting tool. A micro-controller gives you the option of configuring the light according to your needs. Easily program your individual range of functions with many models through the different buttons and switch combinations. This way you always have the optimal light function, such as boost, power, low power, flashing light or strobe, at hand.
Advanced Focus System: Galileo swore by the power of lenses; Newton by the power of reflectors. Ledlenser has simply combined the two technologies but in a new and innovative way. The result: our patented3 Advanced Focus System (AFS), which allows a seamless transition from homogeneous low beam to sharply focused high beam.
Rapid Focus: When focusing or defocusing the flashlight or headlamp, the reflector lens moves in relation to the LED. To ensure this process is as quick and ergonomic as possible we developed Rapid Focus: a single-hand mechanism that allows the light beam to be adjusted as fast as lightning.

IP-Class: IP ratings define the protection of the products against the penetration of foreign particles (mainly dust, dirt) and water. The IP rating usually consists of two digits. The first digit ranges from 1 to 6 and indicates the protection of the product against foreign bodies and contact. The second digit (from 1 to 8 or 9) indicates how well the housing is sealed against moisture or water. Basically, the following applies: The higher the value, the higher the protection rating. There is one caveat: Up to the protection rating IPX6, the lower ratings are automatically included when the protection against the ingress of water is indicated. However, both higher ratings (IPX7 and IPX8) refer to another type of water ingress (submersion underwater). That is why the products of our iL and EX series, for example, comply with the protection ratings IP66 and IP68, meaning they are protected against powerful water jets as well as continuous submersion.
Casing Material: So that you can enjoy your light for a long time, every Ledlenser casing is made of high-quality metal. In this instance, it's aluminium to ensure especially light handling.
